Also, make sure you sign up for the boutiques' loyalty programs and special alerts. Yes, this means more email than you care to have in your inbox, but it also means that you get advance warning of additional discounts, members-only sales and shopping events, and coupons galore that can be used on already-discounted merchandise. That is just savvy shopping, and it is a highly-prized skill.
